They stock zines, pay 70% when they sell, ( & they seem to sell fairly well), they have a shifting stock of zines & magazines & independent records & stuff. open fairly standard hours. they're great
on broadway, opposite victoria park: between the shopping centre & glebe pt road

Paint it Black is a tiny little record store with awesome stock run by some awesome kids in Syd. They also stock zines from locals and os, are DIY and non-profit.

Pulp Books (King st, Newtown)
Another tiny store with disproportionately good stock. Mostly second hand books, but they stock zines as well. Well worth checking out.

If you're standing at the intersection of William Street and Hay Street, walk down Hay in the same direction as the Wesley Uniting Church) "Purveyors of MANY cds, music memorabilia, tee shirts, zines, vinyl, dvds, videos, you name it! Band regularly have instore performances and signing sessions...Nice atmosphere, comfy couches.
